Triumfeminaat

Hoe krijgt ze het toch voor elkaar? Het kapsel van Hillary Clinton zit altijd even onberispelijk. Storm, kou, regen of zon, steeds zijjn er die haast klassiek kunstzinnige slagen in het haar en, niet te vergeten, de onverzettelijke oorknoppen.

Ik zie haar graag. Ze heeft een leuk koppie, ook op haar 59e. Ik maak me geen illusies. Achter het leuke koppie gaat heel wat schuil, mooie en minder mooie dingen. Maar toch, ik zie haar graag ook al is het niet meteen het type waarmee ik als “maatje” de jungle in zou willen.

President van de Vrouwlijke Staten. Waarom ook niet? Het lijkt mij persoonlijk een prachtige ontwikkeling. Het links-radicale miljonairtje zal best iets leuks kunnen doen voor de arme luizen in de brakke onderkomens van die afschuwelijk, eentonige Amerikaanse steden. Links-radicaal voor Amerikaanse begrippen natuurlijk, hè! In het beleid zal ongetwijfeld het stempel terug te vinden zijn van Bill want in huize Clinton geldt één vaste stelregel: even napraten op het kussen en tussen de lakens.

Nog spannender vind ik de situatie die gaat ontstaan als Hillary daadwerkelijk president wordt. In de VS een vrouw aan het roer, in Duitsland Angela Merkel en in Frankrijk de vrouw met de merkwaardige combinatie Présidente Royale. Een drievrouwschap dat een belangrijk deel van de wereld bestuurt. Dat zal toch tot iets moeten leiden dat alle feministische hartjes sneller doet kloppen!

Echt, het lijkt mij heel boeiend om te zien hoe zoiets gaat. Eerlijk gezegd denk ik dat de drie vrouwen netzo zullen handelen als hun manlijke voorgangers. Alleen de presentatie en hier en daar een accentje zal anders zijn maar…ik wacht vol verwachting af. Ze kunnen mij geen groter plezier doen dan een globaal triumfeminaat: Hillary, Ségolène en Angela.  Wauw! Drie is een magisch getal.

Missing speech

(George Bush):

 “My fellow Americans,

 As from this morning 0.600 a.m my Ethiopian brigades are crossing the border of Somalia. I ordered them to do so to reinstate chaos in that country. That will best serve our goals in fighting terrorists and muslims in general. By doing so I created the possibility for our air force and navy to hunt down and destroy terrorist camps and innocent farmers in the south of Somalia. And remember: we will prevail by fighting until the last Ethiopian.

Secondly I ordered to send another 20.000 of our finest boys and girls to Iraq to fight terrorists and anyone who looks like them in that country. They wil be sent in fases and will return in vases because of industing by Iraqi rebels. It’s a beautiful thing to know these boys and girls will reach their utter destiny shortly.

Meantime the Chinese pay our national debts. I am very grateful for this contribution to our enduring dumbdom in the case of fighting terrorism. Of course my critics will have something to say about our relationship with China. I would strongly advise them not to do so. If the Chinese would decide to withdraw their investments from our contry we would find ourselves on the level of Somalians.
